Technical Drawing Sample.
This technical drawing sample was created to show my way of communicating a finalized design to a manufacturer. Since most of the technical drawings I create are proprietary and owned by my employers, I decided to create a technical drawing pamphlet for one of my own projects, a FPV Freestyle Drone. As an avid Drone pilot, I found a lot of issues with current FPV Drones on the market, so as an Industrial Designer I took it upon myself to come up with better solutions.
What is FPV?
FPV stands for first person view and refers to how the drone is piloted. There is a camera on the drone that sends a low latency video feed to a pair of VR goggles worn by the pilot. This video feed allows the pilot to see everything the drone sees in real time. I fell in love with this hobby 3 years ago and in my opinion, is the closest sensation to flying that one can experience. This below video is an example of one of my flights.
